I'm going to be quick and just give details about just a few items.
We had a fantastic trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum this morning! Thank you to Sumeeta Krishnaney an Kelly Grebe for joining our class. The students found many examples of artifacts and items to draw. They were thrilled to see all the animals, masks, spears, mancala boards, and other things.
Tomorrow is Library - we have library every E day, so remind your child to return any books laying around the house.
Your child must have a white, cotton t-shirt here by Thursday for our tie-dying activity. If any parents can help in the afternoon either putting rubber-bands on the shirts (after 1:15) or then taking them off and rinsing the shirts at the end of the day(3:00), that would be marvelous. Remember that the shirt should fit or be a bit large. Shirts that are too small shrink and then the children cannot wear them. We will be wearing our shirts to our African Market on Wednesday, March 13.
I found a pair of black size 3T snow pants in my room. They certainly don't belong to any of my first grade friends, but I am wondering if a sibling has lost or misplace a pair of snow pants. There is no name on the tag, but they are Columbia snow pants. If I don't hear from anyone, I will put them in the lost and found.
That's all for now! Will download some sledding pictures and pictures of the 7th graders sharing their Native American stories with us. Take care.
